You may have heard the name Neville Goddard on TikTok or YouTube videos, but who was he? And how did he manage to change so many people’s lives and still does today?
Neville Goddard was a mystical teacher, author, and lecturer who rose to prominence in the mid-20th century. Born in St. Michael, Barbados in 1905, Goddard spent much of his life in the United States, where he developed a unique philosophy centered around the power of imagination and the role it plays in shaping our lives. He had a fascinating life and his teachings continue to inspire many people to this day.
Goddard’s teachings were based on the idea that the human mind has the ability to create its own reality, and that the thoughts and images we hold in our minds directly influence the experiences we have in the world. He believed that the universe is malleable and that we can use our imagination to change our circumstances and create the life we desire.
One key and very important aspect of Neville Goddard’s teachings was the concept of being in a state akin to sleep (SATS). According to Goddard, our thoughts and emotions play a significant role in shaping our reality, and by entering SATS, we can more effectively control our thoughts and emotions.
