What a wonderful read. I'm so sorry you had to go through loss like that, I can't imagine what it's like.

I am also a middle child, and can't remember spending much alone time with either parent, something I try to avoid with my two. We even talk about one-on-one time with each kid and plan it in sometimes, but I know it's not enough. Thank you for this.
