Oh you totally sound like a fun grandmother! I didn’t know mine that well as we grew up abroad but the one who lived until my early 20s was stern and strict and definitely not fun. My own mother doesn’t engage with my kids at all, and living away from her doesn’t help the situation, but even when we’ve visited she doesn’t know how to interact with them and puts the tv on. It’s sad as I know she was a good mum when we were little.

Your kids and grandchildren are so lucky to have you around and be able to spend all that time with you and make such precious memories.
