Oh my goodness this was quite heartbreaking to read. I'm so sorry that it's so polarised there. I knew there were many who were continuing life as if nothing was going on, but that's quite extreme. And you are right about women in many ways. It's not always easy to see us as 'bad' because we have been on the receiving end of abuse for millennia, but that does not mean there aren't abuse and terrible women out there. Many privileged women also know what is going on but are so scared of losing this privilege that they need to rise above it, and in the process lose their humanity.
