My little guy (6) is obsessed with Lego and we have so much stuff. His older sister (9) also has a lot, but nothing compared with his amount. Ours gets destroyed after building and sitting around for a couple of weeks because he just leaves then around - plus the dust issue.
We have Harry Potter sets, Star Wars, Minecraft and many other smaller things. No idea how to sort them or store them. Your way is amazing but I don’t think the little guy would stick with it. So I’m hoping that he’ll either give up (unlikely) or become the most organised under-10-year-old and figure it out himself.
