Here in Germany you cannot start school without a certain set of vaccinations, including measles. And with the ‘Schulpflicht’ it’s mandatory to go to school, no home schooling allowed. So everyone has to be vaccinated.

I like alternative options for some milder things like colds, but having both my kids vaccinated was a non-negotiable for me. I like being healthy and I want the best for my kids as well.

I had measles as a kid but luckily quite mild (I can’t remember having it, but it’s in my records). It’s a shame it has to be mandatory because it’s a no brainer as far as I’m concerned.
